Prideaux House


	The accommodation at Prideaux House consists of 16 single rooms and 2 double/twin rooms with each floor having an assisted bathroom. All rooms are equipped with at the least a wash basin and toileting facility although most are en-suite. Each room is decorated and furnished to a high standard including a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and armchair. We like to encourage you to bring in small items of furniture, ornaments and pictures, to make your room feel your own. We have a large bright lounge which provides a pleasant area to accommodate most of our recreational activities, or for you to spend time listening to music or watching television communally. An Emergency Nurse Call System is installed in each room and there are also call points strategically placed around the Home to enable you to call for assistance when required. All linen is provided and laundered by the Home. Personal clothing is also washed by the in house Laundry Service, although items of clothing which require dry cleaning are charged separately by the local dry cleaning companies.

	The home-cooked menu is varied and nutritious. We cater for all types of dietary needs, and our in-house Chef and staff are available to discuss special diets at any time. Breakfast is generally served in bedrooms whereas Lunch and Supper are usually provided in the Dining Room. Should you wish to have any meals in your own bedroom or the lounge area, this request will be honoured. Relatives and friends are welcome to enjoy meals with us, we just ask for a little notice.

	Our large, secluded and secure garden gives great pleasure to our Residents and Visitors alike. A raised flower bed has been erected for our Residents to have their own area of the garden to nurture. There is also a courtyard which is available for Residents to entertain their visitors.

	We welcome any comments or suggestions you may have. Visitors to Prideaux House are very welcome at any time and will always be offered refreshments when greeted. We at Prideaux House are constantly trying to improve the service we offer to our Residents and families.
